Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Morphio's image viewing, conversion, compression, and ZIP processing tools, as well as accounts, points, plans, and paid services.

Effective date: September 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

Morphio is operated by Yang Donghe, based in China. These Terms are between you and Yang Donghe as the operator of Morphio. In these Terms, we, us, and our refer to that operator.

By accessing or using Morphio, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Morphio for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and ‘you’ includes that organization.

2. The service

Morphio provides HEIC/HEIF viewing, conversion, compression, downloads, and related account, usage, payment, and licensing features. Current image conversion outputs include JPG, PNG, WebP, and PDF. Available tools and limits depend on the selected page, mode, device, and plan.

Privacy conversion and the HEIC Viewer process images in your browser without uploading them for image processing. Account, licensing, eligibility, usage, and diagnostic requests may still be sent to Morphio. Cloud conversion uploads images or ZIP archives for server-side processing. HEIC compression also uses Cloud processing. The Privacy Policy explains how files and related data are handled.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your account and sign-in method secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or recognized devices to the extent permitted by law.

You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law. If you use Morphio as a minor where permitted, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use when required.

4. Your files and permissions

You retain ownership of files and other content you submit. You grant Morphio and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, transmit, decode, convert, compress, package, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and troubleshoot the service.

You represent that you own the files or have all permissions needed to process them, and that their use through Morphio does not violate law, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or another person’s rights. You are responsible for keeping original files and downloading results before they expire or are removed.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Morphio to:

  • Process illegal, infringing, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or unauthorized content.
  • Upload malware, malicious archives, corrupted payloads intended to cause harm, or content designed to access systems or data without authorization.
  • Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass security, evade limits, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with the service or other users.
  • Resell or provide access to the service in a way that exceeds your plan or license, misrepresents Morphio, or violates applicable law.
  • Use output or metadata in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

6. Conversion results

Both Privacy and Cloud modes retain metadata supported by the target format by default and do not intentionally strip it. Conversion can still change encoding, color, animation, transparency, quality, compatibility, or HEIC-specific metadata and container characteristics that the target format cannot represent. Results may differ by source file, format, browser, library, device, or conversion mode. You must inspect results before relying on them and keep an independent backup of important source files.

Morphio does not guarantee that every file can be opened, converted, compressed, preserved without change, or accepted by a third-party application. A displayed preview is not a guarantee that every frame, metadata field, color property, or downstream use will be preserved.

7. Free usage, points, plans, and licenses

Free usage, points, file allowances, device limits, and plan durations are governed by the current product configuration and the information displayed when you use or purchase the service. Limits may be enforced across guest identifiers, accounts, devices, sessions, tasks, or time periods.

Both guests and signed-in users can use the available free allowance. Privacy uses the same online usage system as Cloud even though image processing stays in your browser. Local processing or a Private plan does not by itself bypass usage checks; applicable allowances and entitlements are shown by the active tool and purchase terms.

Cloud image conversions and HEIC compression use points. Before Cloud work is sent for processing, at least one point per image is checked or reserved against your available balance. Final usage is based on actual processing time, with a minimum of one point per successfully processed image; processing beyond a 30-second interval can use additional points. Uploading images in a ZIP does not turn them into a single image for billing.

An already-started task may finish with a higher cost than the estimate, resulting in a negative points balance. Points added later, including points from a purchase, may first offset that balance. A negative points balance is a usage balance, not an automatic additional payment or card charge.

Local licenses are limited, revocable permissions to use designated browser conversion features for the applicable term and device allowance. You may not extract, forge, share, alter, or bypass permits, signatures, device limits, usage checks, or licensing controls.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Prices, currencies, taxes, product duration, included points or permissions, and whether a purchase is one-time or recurring are shown before checkout. Payments are handled by the payment provider identified during checkout and may also be subject to that provider’s terms.

A recurring subscription renews at the disclosed interval until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not ordinarily reverse benefits already delivered for the current term. Refunds are provided where required by law or expressly stated at checkout; otherwise, completed purchases are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

We may suspend entitlements, points, licenses, or accounts associated with a failed payment, refund, chargeback, payment dispute, fraud concern, or conflicting provider event while the matter is reviewed. You remain responsible for lawful payment charges. Any negative points balance is handled under the points rules above and is distinct from a payment charge.

9. Third-party services

Morphio depends on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, payment, analytics, and infrastructure providers. Their services and policies may apply when you interact with them. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, applications, or decisions about whether a converted file is accepted.

10. Morphio intellectual property

Morphio and its software, branding, interface, documentation, and site content are owned by Morphio or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

11. Changes and availability

We may add, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, respond to providers, prevent abuse, or improve the service. We may also change free allowances and future pricing. Changes do not remove mandatory rights or obligations already created by a completed purchase.

The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, demand, network conditions, browser limitations, third-party failures, or events beyond our reasonable control.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, abused resources, evaded limits, failed to pay, initiated a payment dispute, or used the service in a way that could harm Morphio, providers, or users. Where reasonable, we may allow you to contact support for review.

You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morphio is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available.’ We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free or lossless conversion. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morphio and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of files, metadata, revenue, profits, goodwill, or data; or the cost of substitute services arising from use of or inability to use Morphio.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Morphio for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event or USD 100. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Applicable law and disputes

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Morphio operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes that cannot be resolved informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service, provider, business, or legal changes. Revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
